Is Baggie's Deli Halal?

The short answer to this question is no. To be Halal it really means that you need to get a proper certification and not produce any pork on-site.

We use Halal ingredients

At Baggie's we use Halal ingredients wherever possible. When we write up our products we should state if the meat (and other products used) is in fact Halal. If you don't see that information then feel free to reach out to us. We would be more than happy to answer any of your questions.

Halal sensitive food preparation

As mentioned previously we are not Halal certified, and we do also produce pork products in our kitchen. We do go to special efforts to prevent product contamination and also clarity to our customers on halal certification:

• Very careful cleaning of all production equipment after each use
• Scheduling food production to not mix the preparation of all halal ingredient products with products containing pork meat
• Product descriptions making clear if a product is halal or made from halal ingredients
• Categorisation to browse products by Halal and Halal Ingredients
