Baggie's Chilli Boerewors Meatballs are from a mix of quality beef and pork mince, with special boerewors spices, coriander, clove, pepper and chilli.
Boerewors originates from South Africa and the word Boerewors actually means "Farmers Sausage", traditionally the farmer kept the best quality meats and made sausages for his family. There are strict rules around labelling a product Boerewors as it must contain at least 90% meat, whereas other types of sausage contain less meat, and more filler!
We make our Boerewors meatballs fresh in our butchery and deli, and pack and freeze them so you get the freshest possible product when we deliver. We pack 16 meatballs per pack, weighing a total of 400g.
These meatballs are perfect for your home cooked meal. They make a great tomato pasta dish, or a fantastic curry!
